I've been able to connect to the server and carry on a chat with another tribester, but everyone's status is "offline", including the person I was chatting with. He reported that I appeared to be offline as well.
I realize chat is a low priority at Tribe World Headquarters, but it's actually a nice service, and I'd like to make more use of it; correct status would help a lot.
